Rachel M. Aydt has been on staff at various New York-based magazines for 15 years. She contributes arts and lifestyle pieces to Time International, writes for upscale Inkedhas written for Redbook, Quest, Prevention, YM, New York Press, Manhattan File, Woman’s Day, and Scribner’s Dictionary of American Lives. She’s also published a book for teenagers called Why Me? A Teen’s Guide to Divorce and Your Feelings (2000, Rosen Publishing Group). Before becoming a full-time freelancer, she was the research director at CosmoGIRL! Magazine. Rachel also has been teaching writing at the New School University for nearly six years.
