Lakeside Park is the perfect place to spend a lazy afternoon swimming and catching up on summer reading. The beaches are soft and sandy and the water is warm, crystal clear and wave free. It's a great place to have a picnic and has tables and barbeque pits for your convenience. There is a children's play area and places to rent boats and kayaks. Be aware that there is no life guard on duty and if you're thinking about taking a pet you should check the regulations and restrictions.
