Each year Daytona and the surrounding area are transformed into a 10-day motorcycle festival. This fun, family-oriented annual event welcomes hundreds of thousands of visitors every year. It is the world’s largest motorcycle event held. What started in 1937, with the inaugural event of the Daytona 200 (first motorcycle race held on the beach) is now a world famous annual gathering of motorcycle enthusiast. You will find several hundred special events scheduled throughout the region. The Chamber of Commerce in Daytona Beach Area puts on the Bike Week event.
