Dye design. It is notable both for rolling greens and sandy waste areas. There is no avoiding either. There are also six sets of tees, so you should be able to find a comfortable spot. There is only one long par-5 at Black Bear. It is 579 yards from the longest tee. This course also boasts an extra hole, #19, for die-hard golfers or deadlocked gamblers. This is a semi-private golf course. Metal spikes are tolerated but not encouraged.
