I've stayed in 8 different hotels over 20 business trips (about 70 nights) to New Orleans in 2006-2008. This hotel is my favorite property (along with Homewood Suites) and where I stay the most. I love the modern decor, the W brand of style, and walking into the "living room" is always Welcoming and Warm. The gym is excellent with cardio equipment with TVs built-in, free weights, and a great machine weights; cool swimming gazebos (although W St Charles has a lovely patio); the beds are very comfortable; and the staff is generally competent and pleasant. What I don't like: no wireless internet, the room have doors to other rooms so noise gets through (not good when your neighbors are loud drunk people).
